With several unique selling propositions in the marketplace, Bothwell Cheese is rapidly growing and expanding across Canada.

Working from a home based office, Bothwell Cheese is looking for a talented sales professional in Winnipeg to join our team! The Territory Manager – Foodservice will be responsible for supporting existing and customer base and increasing market share through fostering relationships with foodservice partners within the Manitoba market.

 

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for:

– Managing territory with focus on Food Service sales; Travel will be required within Manitoba (80% focus in Winnipeg) and occasional travel may be required outside of Manitoba

– Developing and generating business through incremental sales with existing customers and new business acquisition

– Preparing and presenting regular business reviews to end user customers, distributors and internal stakeholders

– Regular communication among Bothwell Cheese employees and departments

– Initiating and evaluating opportunities for ‘continuous improvement’ throughout the geographical area

– Developing and implementing a coverage and contact schedule to capitalize on opportunities

– Developing plans and reports to measure gain / loss in accounts with initiatives towards acquiring new or incremental business

– Maintaining a high level of competitor and marketplace knowledge including products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales levels

– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

– Participating in and assisting with coordination of food service trade shows

– Other responsibilities as assigned

 

You and Your Experience:

– You have sales / account management experience from within the food service business channel

– Dairy / cheese category experience considered an asset

– A post-secondary education in a related discipline is considered and asset

– You are self-motivated, passionate and an innovative thinker, possessing strong leadership, communication and analytical skills

– You are proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, sales systems and e-business technology

– You are able to travel frequently within the territory
