Herbs & Garlic Cheddar Corn Chowder

A creamy and cheesy corn chowder made with our Sunny Dog Barkin' Herbs and Garlic Cheddar and lots of sweet corn. This is a great recipe for any time of year.


  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1 cup of chopped leeks
  • 1 cup diced celery root
  • 1 ½ cups of corn
  • 1 litre of vegetable stock
  • 1 cup shredded Sunny Dog Barkin' Herbs and Garlic Cheddar 
  • 1 cup of 35% cream
  • 2 tbsp. of olive oil
  • Salt to taste


  1. Add 2 tbsp. of olive oil to pot and heat
  2. Sauté onions and leeks
  3. Add celery root
  4. Add corn and sauté for 2-3 minutes
  5. Add vegetable stock and bring to a gentle boil for 2-3 minutes. Let simmer for 20 minutes
  6. Add in 35% cream and puree with emulsifier
  7. Add in grated cheese
