Chef John’s Impossible Sliders

These impossible meat sliders are perfect for summer grilling and entertaining. Fresh and light, these vegetarian sliders are a crowd pleaser, even among meat eaters!
Ingredients
- 2 packages Impossible meat, 340g each
- ½ cup panko crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 dashes Worcestershire
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. onion powder
Toppings
- 1oz Sunny Dog Barkin' Herbs & Garlic Cheddar
- 2 Tbsp. avocado aioli
- 2 slices cucumber
- 2 slices avocado
- Onion sprouts
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl with a wooden spoon or spatula
- Each burger should weigh 60g or 2oz. Chef tip: use a small dish to help portion the burger mixture into balls This recipe will yield 13 x 2oz. burgers. Shape burger balls with your hands into small patties or using a burger press
- Griddle or grill at medium high at 400 degrees roughly 4 minutes per side (8 minutes in total). Internal temperature should be over 140 degrees.
- Add a thick slice of cheese and melt for 1 or 2 minutes
- Serve sliders on mini brioche with all of your favorite condiments and toppings
