Korean-Style Breaded Cheese Curds

Take deep-fried cheese curds to the next level by adding Korean flavours like kimchi. This fusion is comforting, spicy, and delicious!
Ingredients
- 200g Deep-Fried Cheese Curds
- ½ cup kimchi
- Optional garnish: 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 red chilli, sliced
Aioli
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced or grated
- 1 tsp. gochugaru spice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame Beef
- 1 tbsp. oil
- ½ lb. ground beef
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced or grated
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1tbsp sesame seedsAssembly 200g Bothwell breaded Cheese Curds , cooked as per package directions ½ cup kimchi Optional garnish: 2 green onions, sliced 1 red chilli, sliced
Directions
- Combine all ingredients for aioli in a small bowl and set aside.
- In a small bowl, using a fork, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch and sesame seeds.
- In a medium-large pan, over medium-high heat, heat oil and add beef.
- Cook beef until browned and add soy sauce mixture.
- Cook beef for an additional 3-5 minutes until the meat is cooked and sauce thickens.
- In a serving dish, layer cheese curds, beef and kimchi. Drizzle with aioli and garnish with green onions and red chilis.
