Grilled Cheesesteak 3 Ways

These three Cheesesteak Sandwiches are a must-try! Each combo is paired with a different variety from our 450g Sliced Variety Pack. They have the perfect melt making them ideal for hot sandwiches like these. They're easy, delicious, and ready in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Medium Cheddar Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich

  • 2 Sub rolls (hoagie buns)
  • 6 Medium Cheddar slices from Bothwell's 450g Sliced Variety Pack 
  • 2 8 oz boneless ribeye steak or flank steak
  • ½ red onion
  • 2 Tbsp chipotle mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Red Hot Chili Pepper Monterey Jack Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich 

  • 2 Sub rolls (hoagie buns)
  • 6 Red Hot Chili Pepper Monterey Jack slices from Bothwell's 450g Sliced Variety Pack
  • 2 8 oz boneless ribeye steak or flank steak
  • ½ red pepper
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Mozzarella Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich 

  • 2 Sub rolls (hoagie buns)
  • 6 Mozzarella Slices from Bothwell's 450g Sliced Variety Pack
  • 2 8 oz boneless ribeye steak or flank steak
  • ½ sweet onion
  • ½ tomato
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Directions

Medium Cheddar Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich

  1. Season and marinate steak, as desired. Grill on the barbecue until cooked medium (or as preferred). Cut onions in quarters and grill until cooked. Once cooked, slice them thinly.
  2. Open up sub rolls, and place slices of 3 Bothwell Medium Cheddar cheese on each one.
  3. Layer with sliced grilled steak, red onion, chipotle mayonnaise, chives and salt and pepper.
  4. Optional: place in the oven on broil for 5 minutes to make the cheese extra gooey. Add any additional condiments such as: olive oil, butter, mayonnaise, aioli.

Red Hot Chili Pepper Monterey Jack Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich 

  1. Season and marinate steak, as desired. Grill on the barbecue until cooked medium (or as preferred). Cut red peppers into large sections and grill until cooked. Once cooked, slice them thinly.
  2. Open up sub rolls, and place 3 slices of Bothwell Red Hot Chili Pepper Monterey Jack cheese on each one.
  3. Layer with sliced grilled steak, mushrooms, red pepper, chives and salt and pepper.
  4. Optional: place in the oven on broil for 5 minutes to make the cheese extra gooey. Add any additional condiments such as: olive oil, butter, mayonnaise, aioli.

Mozzarella Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich 

  1. Season and marinate steak, as desired. Grill on the barbecue until cooked medium (or as preferred).
  2. In a small pan, heat up olive oil and add thinly sliced sweet onions to cook for 8 minutes.
  3. Open up sub rolls, and place 3 slices of Bothwell Mozzarella cheese on each one.
  4. Layer with sliced grilled steak, sweet onion, tomato, fresh basil, and salt and pepper.
  5. Optional: place in the oven on broil for 5 minutes to make the cheese extra gooey. Add any additional condiments such as: olive oil, butter, mayonnaise, aioli.
